Introduction
Deadstock clothing is a Germany based clothing store and they approached us to get their WooCommerce store developed. It was a great experience working with this brand and we learnt a lot of things from them as well.
User Interface
Our initial focus was to make a UI that looks so sophisticated that people feel the sense of belonging and sophistication on the very first look. And we succeeded in that by making approximately 3 prototypes and then we showed to different users and used which majority chose. Since the brand wanted to have a big and bold image, that’s why we chose to go loud and chose fonts that were bold and protruding. Image sizes were also kept fairly large in order to give the desired effect.
Development Phase
Development phase went particularly smooth with this project. We had to face some challenges with some custom elements but they were resolved in no time as well. Payment gateway integrations took some time because they were a lot but it was done in time as well.
Challenges in Project
The only challenge that we faced was related to user experience. It was a great challenge to maintain the user experience subtle while keeping the design sophisticated. We overcame this challenge by removing some fancy elements and then replacing them with elements that people feel more comfortable with.
