For founders & startups
A senior engineering team for startups without one yet.
We build MVPs and SaaS products for founders, including non-technical founders and teams between technical hires. You work directly with the engineers, defined builds come with a fixed price, and you own the code from day one. If you later hire your own team, they inherit a product they can work on rather than one they have to rewrite.
What founders bring us in for
MVP development
A first version small enough to launch soon and solid enough to keep building on, rather than a demo you throw away after the raise.
SaaS & product build
The parts that turn an MVP into a business: sign-up and roles, billing, separate data per customer account, admin and reporting.
Dedicated team
One senior developer or a small team working in your repo and your standups, month to month.
Fractional CTO
Someone senior to make the architecture, hiring and vendor calls with you, part-time, until a full-time CTO makes sense.
AI features & integration
AI features where they earn their place in the product: search, summaries, assistants and automated workflows.
Why founders work with us
Choosing the wrong team costs more than money.
A slow or careless build burns runway, and code you cannot hand to anyone else leaves you dependent on one vendor. These are the commitments we make so neither happens.
- You talk to the senior engineers doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages
- AI tools speed up the repetitive parts; engineers own the architecture and review every change
- A fixed price and agreed scope for defined builds, so you know the spend before work starts
- You own the code, designs and IP from day one, with documentation good enough to hand to your next hire
- A one-week trial on real work before you commit to anything longer
- Blended cash-and-equity considered case by case for a small number of early-stage companies

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with early-stage startups?
Yes. Founders and early-stage teams are a core part of our work, from a first MVP through the stage where the product needs to handle real customers and a growing team. Defined builds get a fixed price; ongoing work runs month to month. You can start with a one-week trial on real work to see how we operate before committing.
How much does it cost to build a startup MVP?
Most focused MVPs land between the mid four figures and the low five figures, depending on scope. The biggest cost driver is usually how much goes into version one, so we help you cut it down to what you need to learn from real users. You get a fixed price before work starts.
We’re non-technical founders. Can you help?
Yes, and many of our startup clients are. We can act as your engineering team and, through a fractional CTO, help with the technical decisions you would otherwise have to take on trust: what to build first, which stack, what to outsource and when to hire. Everything is documented so you are never dependent on us to understand your own product.
What if we later hire our own engineers?
That is a normal outcome and we plan for it. You own the repository, accounts and IP throughout, the code follows mainstream conventions, and we hand over with documentation and walkthroughs so your first hires can pick it up without starting again.
Do you take equity?
For a small number of early-stage startups where the fit is strong, we will consider a blended cash-and-equity arrangement. Mention it in your enquiry and we can talk it through.
We built a prototype with an AI tool. Can you take it to production?
Yes, this is a common starting point for us. Run the free production-readiness scorecard to see where the gaps are, then we can review the app and tell you honestly whether it needs hardening, partial rework or a rebuild.

Share what you are building, what exists already and your timeline. We reply within one business day with a suggested plan, a fixed price where the scope allows, and an honest view of what to leave out of version one.
